Thank you for visiting my food blog. I’m Sunita Nayr, former journalist and teacher and now, Content Creator/Recipe Developer at panofbliss.com. I enjoy cooking both vegetarian and non-vegetarian Indian cuisine. I also share simple, easy-to-follow, and healthy recipes.

My husband Veynz, who also happens to be a foodie, helps me with photography. He’s also my designated food taster! I started my food blog journey simply because I love cooking. As a teenager I learned cooking from my mother, taking notes from her as she cooked. After that, a lot of it has been self-taught. Since I started cooking more than 20 years ago I have come to believe that the joy of cooking comes from playing around with different ingredients.

Cooking is an alchemy to me. I believe there are countless ways to flavour a dish, which makes the creative process of cooking as delightful as the finished product. I enjoy cooking from scratch. I handpick my spices and ingredients so that it preserves the authenticity of my traditional South Indian and North Indian recipes. I hope my recipes inspire you to head into the kitchen and cook yourself a yummy, healthy meal. There are many easy recipes for beginners, too.

Besides cooking and blogging, I enjoy listening to western classical music, watching world cinema, and doing cardio aerobics. I also love to travel to distant places. Even though I currently stay in Mumbai, I am basically a mountain person and never miss an opportunity to take to the hills.
